Civil Services Examination Notification 2023

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announces the 2023 Civil Services Examination (CSE) for recruitment to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and other Central Services Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.

NUMBER OOF VACANCIES IN UPSC IAS CIVIL SERVICES 2023:

There wwill be total of 1105 vacancies this year.

Eligibility:

Indian citizens, including subjects of Nepal and Bhutan.Age: 32 years for IAS and IFS; 30 years for IPS and other services (upper age limit relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC).

Educational Qualification:

A degree from a recognized university.

Examination Scheme:

Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) in May 2023.

Main Examination (Written and Interview) in September 2023.

Application Procedure:

Apply online through the official website of UPSC (www.upsc.gov.in) from 1st February to 21st February 2023.

Payment of fees through online mode (Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking).For more information, refer to the official notification on the UPSC website.
